About Pastor Rick

Victory Outreach San Bernardino began in 1974, with Pastor Rick Alanis assuming leadership in 1989. Pastor Rick came to Christ after a violent lifestyle. He was a drug user by age 12 and a hard-core gang member by the time he could legally drive a car. Pastor Rick’s “rap sheet” read like a chronicle of street gang life: assault, attempted murder, and drug addiction.

Wondering if there was any way out of his hellish lifestyle, he finally overcame skepticism and Pastor Rick decided to follow Christ. He went into the Victory Outreach Recovery Home and there the transformation began.

Today, under Pastor Rick’s leadership, Victory Outreach San Bernardino has been serving the hurting people of the greater Inland Empire for 27 years.
